If you're getting this error you must reset the owner of
=C:\Users\USERNAME\.emacs.d= to your own account:
1. Right-click the =~/.emacs.d/server= directory in Windows Explorer,
2. Click Properties,
3. Select the "Security" tab,
4. Click the "Advanced" button,
5. Select the "Owner" tab
6. Change the owner to your account name
